With Security –
we are ready!

New legal requirements, such as the EUs Cyber Resilience Act (CRA), are currently causing uncertainty for both manufacturers and integrators. For Weinzierl, this is not a concern. We are well prepared with our portfolio and have provided numerous products with KNX Security this year.

We would like to highlight the new KNX Modbus RTU Gateway 886.1 secure, the first Modbus gateway in a 1 unit housing with KNX Security and which is fully powered by the KNX bus.

Push button with RTC: New in MATCH 55

Also in this year we have expanded our portfolio and further evolved our MATCH 55 push button series. One of its highlights is the extension with a room temperature controller and integrated sensor. It controls for example the heating, but also the air conditioning, including the fan stages. Setpoints can be set with a visualisation via the KNX bus.

The acoustic sound generator can give status feedback or can also be programmed for example as a discreet doorbell. For visual status messages, the push button offers multicolor LEDs in combination with corresponding rockers. Like all MATCH 55 series push buttons, single or double rockers and frames from various manufacturers with 55 mm internal dimensions can be used.

kTUX – KNX Stack for Linux

In system development, a new stack version for Linux saw the light of day at the beginning of the year: kTux

The kTux offers a universal solution for connecting complex devices to the various media in KNX: TP, RF and IP.
kTux supports KNX Security and can also be expanded to include the functionality of a KNX IP interface.

To gather strength for the next year, we are taking a Christmas break:
The company will be closed between December 23, 2024 and January 6, 2025. Incoming orders can be accepted until December 19, 2024. During the Christmas break, we will only be available by email to a limited extent.

As in previous years, we are deciding not to give Christmas presents and are donating to Deutsche Welthungerhilfe (national hunger charity organisation) instead.
